Photo 1: Here we have used Chicken Power to start the process of eliminating grasses with Chicken Trampling (also trampling with sheep in use).  SMALL SEEDS like MILLET + Clover  can be trample planted into a standing body of grass PROVIDED there is enough grass to trample and lay as mulch.   Date of Photo: May 2020

Photo 1a: A single furrow is rough cut with a mattock to to plant large seeds like corn and sunflower. IF YOU BROADCAST Millet PRIOR to digging a single furrow – the disturbed earth will cover the Millet. YOU can THEN use a RAKE as needed to help cover seed + then also plant a bigger seed like Sunflower into furrow. OBJECTIVE HERE is to create a SMOTHER CANOPY of plant growth. You then have OPTIONS as to how you will work this in the next few months. Date of Photo: June 2020
