PHOTO 1: White Cedar on Black Soil grew almost 2 metres first season planted October with frost by June to slow growth until Spring.

PHOTO 1A: Broad Leaf Bottle Tree almost 6 metres now 16 years old.

PHOTO 3: Belah produces Hard Seed Cones that accumulate at base of tree. These cones are a unique “super mulch” that take several years to break down. Older trees can have a mulch mat of cones 100mm deep. Soil beneath a Belah is ultra porous from these cones. Part of a natural process to increase rainfall penetration. Eliminates compaction from cattle at base of tree.

PHOTO 4: 7 year old Silky Oak has been gradually pruned to eliminate lower lateral branches. Best Silky Oak can grow 3 metres first 3 years especially on light loam soil. Horse is 16 hands high.
